(CENTRAL HURON, ON) � The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident in the Town of Clinton, (Municipality of Central Huron).
On Sunday, November 09, 2025, at 09:30 a.m., Huron OPP officers were contacted by a homeowner who discovered someone unlawfully inside the homeowner�s residence, located on Albert Street in Clinton. Police located the suspect inside the home, and they were promptly arrested. The accused was identified and charged as follows:
Stephanie ELLIOTT, 46 years-of-age of no fixed address was charged with:
� Unlawfully in a Dwelling House,
� Mischief,
� Failing to Comply with Probation Order.
The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were remanded into custody. The accused has a later court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice � Goderich.
