(DAWN EUPHEMIA, ON) � An individual from Bothwell is facing impaired driving-related charges following a traffic stop in Dawn-Euphemia.

On January 3rd, 2026, shortly after 2:00 a.m., members of Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Gould Road near Kent Line.

As a result of the investigation, Clinton JONES, 28-years-old, of Bothwell, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with the following offences:

� Operation while Impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

� Obstruct plate

A 90-day Administrative Driver�s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on February 24, 2026.
