(SPRINGWATER, ON) � The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one individual with impaired driving at a RIDE (reducing impaired driving everywhere) Program.
On Thursday, January 15, 2026, shortly after 3:00 p.m., Huronia West OPP officers conducted a RIDE Program on Gill Road in Springwater Township.
As a result, Daniel BROHM, a 61-year-old of Midhurst, was arrested and charged with the following:
� Operation while impaired � blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on February 10, 2026, to answer to the charges.
Drivers who are impaired by drugs or alcohol continue to pose a significant threat on Ontario roads.
