(RENFREW, ON) � The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one people after officers responded to a traffic complaint in McNab/Braeside Township.

On Friday, January 16, 2026, at approximately 7:20 p.m., Renfrew OPP officers responded to a traffic complaint on the ice in McNab/Braeside Township. Officers were advised of a motor vehicle driving dangerously on the ice surface.

As a result of the investigation, Jack WATSON age 27 of Ottawa was charged with:

� Failure or refusal to comply with demand

� Operation while prohibited

� Dangerous Operation

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
