(HUNTSVILLE, ON) � Officers of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) are always looking for criminal driving behaviour.
On January 21, 2026 at 7:15a.m., Huntsville O.P.P. officers were notified by ONSTAR and of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 11 northbound near Stephenson Rd 12. Reports were the vehicle was on its roof.
Police attended the scene with the assistance of Muskoka EMS. The driver was determined to be uninjured, but police determined the driver to be impaired.
As a result of the investigation, Shaquille ANTOINE, 26 years old of North York Ontario, has been charged with:
� Operation while impaired � alcohol and drugs
� Possession of schedule 1 substance (cocaine) � trafficking x 2
� Failing to comply with Probation Order
� Possession of Property obtained by crime under $5000
� Drive motor vehicle with cannabis available
The accused was held for a bail hearing 2026 before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Ontario.
The accused was also issued a 90 Administrative Driver�s License Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
