Stop Shooting Police & Seniors London Police Warn About SENIOR ASSASSIN Game

The game, typically played by graduating high school seniors in the weeks leading up to graduation, involves participants using water or Nerf-style guns to eliminate one another in public spaces. While often intended as harmless fun, the game can create serious public safety risks.

In recent years, London Police have responded to multiple incidents where individuals playing the game were mistaken for carrying real firearms. In some cases, members of the public were struck by pellets or projectiles, and police were dispatched to high-risk calls believing a firearm was involved.

Some of the imitation guns used in this game closely resemble real firearms, said Superintendent Bill Berg, of the London Police Service Uniformed Division. Our officers are required to treat every firearm-related call as real. These situations elevate the risk for everyone involved, including the public, officers, and the youth participating.

Police remind the community that carrying imitation firearms in public can possibly result in criminal charges, school discipline, or serious injury.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to speak with their children about the danger of being mistaken for carrying a real weapon, the potential for police involvement, and the legal and safety consequences.

London Police Service is discouraging participation in the game and asking for the communitys help to prevent unnecessary and dangerous encounters.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity involving weapons, real or imitation, is asked to call 9-1-1.
