87 Year Old Facing Aggravated Assault � Traumatic Injuries

A female is facing charges after assaulting another female at a residence in Ajax.
On Thursday, April 16, 2026, at approximately 6:35 p.m., members of West Division responded to an assist ambulance call at a residence in the area of Keeble Crescent and Bennett Avenue. A female suffering from traumatic injuries was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre in critical life-threatening condition.
Further investigation revealed another resident inside of the home had assaulted the victim earlier in the day, inflicting traumatic injuries. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
The victim�s condition has since been upgraded to serious but stable.
An 87-year-old female from Ajax is charged with: Aggravated Assault.
She was held for a bail hearing.
The identity of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
