Suspect Wanted After Armed Robberies in Oshawa

A male is wanted following an investigation into two armed robberies at convenience stores in Oshawa.

On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at approximately 10:15 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to a robbery call at Oshawa Grand Convenience located at 219 Nonquon Road. A male entered the business and made threats with a firearm while demanding cash from an employee. The suspect stole cash from the register and fled the area on foot. Officers did not locate the suspect.



The victim did not suffer any physical injuries.

On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at approximately 7:40 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to a robbery call at One Stop Shopping Convenience located at 293 Mary Street North. A male entered the business and made threats with a knife while demanding cash from an employee. The victim used a chair to defend himself and create space, which the suspect slashed and stabbed toward. The suspect smashed a display case and stole lottery tickets before fleeing the area on foot. Officers attended but did not locate the suspect.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

Investigators with the Auto Robbery Crime Unit have identified the suspect and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

At the time of the incident the accused was already bound by as weapons prohibition.

Nicholas David BURR, age 36 of No Fixed Address is wanted for: Robbery with Firearm, Robbery with Weapon, Assault with a Weapon, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, Possession Contrary to Order x3, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order x10.
